Mission & Goals

Houston H Friends strives to provide a relaxed, non-judgmental environment for Herpes challenged individuals to relax, socialize and discuss their issues in an open, positive atmosphere.

Our Reponsibilities to You:

Your Responsibilities to Us:

Provide a support mechanism for Houston residents with the Herpes virus (see www.HoustonHELP.org)
Increase active membership of the group
Identify and publish resources for Houston residents dealing with Herpes
Raise public awareness of the group through promotion and advertising
Work closely with other groups in Houston, Texas and throughout the United States
Provide a non-judgmental atmosphere where you can discuss your issues if appropriate
Provide a social environment at each event where people can have fun, socialize and relax

Participate in activities, discussions, email discussions in any way that you are comfortable
If needed, ask for a buddy to talk to about your Herpes-related issues
Avoid being judgmental
Be polite, courteous and respectful of others
Have fun, relax, and be yourself

Houston H Friends is not a dating service!

While group members are free to date amongst

themselves if desired, we make no effort to match dates.

Houston H Friends is not a discriminating group.

We are not educated in counseling but we will listen.
